Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor front-end, back-end, and QA teams, fostering a high-performance engineering culture that delivers quality at speed.
- Architect, design, and implement clean, scalable, and maintainable code, setting the technical bar for the team while remaining hands-on.
- Drive strategic initiatives by collaborating closely with the VP of Product and Technology, ensuring alignment between engineering execution and business objectives.
- Own and optimize enterprise-grade AWS infrastructure, leveraging best practices for security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Enhance operational efficiency by defining and refining agile development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and QA automation strategies.
- Drive a culture of Test Driven Development (TDD) with a proven track record for use and implementation of TDD processes and tooling.
- Communicate complex technical concepts with clarity, ensuring stakeholders—from executives to engineers—are aligned and empowered to make informed decisions.
- Operate with urgency and precision, balancing speed and attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Review and provide feedback on code written by other engineers to ensure high-quality standards.
- Oversee the architectural design and implementation of Enterprise SaaS products.
- Lead the design and development of scalable, maintainable, and modular front-end architectures for enterprise SaaS applications.
- Collaborate with UX designers to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience while maintaining front-end performance and responsiveness.
Required Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Lead Engineer or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and Terraform.
- Extensive full-stack expertise, with proficiency in both front-end (VueJS, ReactJS, TypeScript) and back-end (NodeJS, NestJS, Rust, Python) frameworks, demonstrating the ability to architect, develop, and optimize high quality end-to-end solutions.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tools (deployment pipelines, Jira, GitHub, Jenkins).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience with architectural design and implementation either from the ground up, or via significant modernization/upgrade.
- Knowledge of application security best practices is a must.
- Proven track record in optimizing front-end performance and ensuring scalability in high-traffic applications.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex front-end challenges in a SaaS environment.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with product and design stakeholders.
- Experience with vulnerability management best practices
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with trunk-based development is beneficial.
