Our client, a respected boutique litigation firm in downtown Toronto, is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Insurance Defence Law Clerk to join their team. This full-time, hybrid role is ideal for a motivated professional who excels in a dynamic environment and is passionate about supporting high-quality litigation work. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting legal documents and preparing legal memoranda
  • Summarizing and organizing case-related documents
  • Preparing correspondence and managing lawyers’ calendars
  • Scheduling court dates and coordinating with courts and counsel
  • Conducting legal and factual searches as required
  • Providing overall litigation support to counsel
Qualifications:
  • Law Clerk Diploma/Certificate required
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a law clerk, preferably in litigation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines
  • Self-motivated team player with a professional attitude
  • Experience with Primafact, ACL, Adobe, and Zoom is considered an asset
