1. Service-Based Industries
Service-based companies are hiring at a rapid pace. Grocery stores, shopping services, and other food suppliers are working hard to keep up with the demand in the retail sector. They need people to do everything from stocking shelves, working in warehousing, managing retail stores, assisting with shipping, and more.
2. Healthcare
Healthcare professionals are in very high demand, but it’s not only doctors and nurses who are needed. Hospitals, clinics, and personal support facilities need to fill positions everywhere from porters, admin support, clinical operations to management, and more. Medical manufacturing companies are working hard to keep up with essential health supplies.
3. Online Learning
Schools and universities are closed. Education has made the shift online, much like many other industries. E-learning companies and supporting companies have seen a large spike in demand to support platforms, provide service, and help institutions get set up in an online learning environment.
4. Supply Chain
The supply chain is in full force and effect. Shipping and delivery service providers cannot find enough people to help fulfill orders. Companies are hiring for all positions within the supply chain and logistics to keep products flowing out of the warehouse to their end destination.
5. Information Technology
There has been a spike in demand for IT-related roles. With so many people working from home, there is a greater demand to set up and support things like remote workspaces, cloud solutions, collaborative tools, and video conference technology.
